FAQs
How long will the site be online?

The site will be online for through 2017, however my goal is to keep the site online forever (or as long as humanly possible). The idea is to generate an internet time capsule: a page that is unique and permanent, and founded on a purpose larger than profit.

Why should I buy a rose?

Where else can you make a donation of any amount and have your name etched into Internet history forever? You will have a rose permanently posted on this site and seen by millions of people for many years. The site will be online at least through 2017, that's guaranteed, but the idea is to keep it online forever. While everything on the internet keeps changing, this will site remain solid and permanent forever. In doing so you can be a part of a generation that finds a cure for this disease, and you could own a piece of 'Internet history'!

Are you affiliated with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation?

No, not at all. But thanks to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Thanks Susan!) and their great partnership, every penny raised by this website will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

What will you do with the money?

Each and every penny goes directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!  Your donation is tax deductible and you will receive a receipt of your donation for your records.

Why $1 million dollars?

I hope it ends up being more, but $1 million dollars seems to be a good target number. The fact is that no amount is too much, and given that there is no limit to the number of roses I am selling and that each rose is purchased on a donation basis, my hope is that this website will continue to generate dollars for CF research for many years to come.
